New tape out on Abandon Reason

Last week I released a double cassette box thing on my label Abandon Reason. Loosely, it's a collaboration with Raising Holy Sparks, the only criteria for the music being that it would include recordings of the rivers near to our respective homes. I had the idea for the project when I was cycling home from having picked up a beautiful Yamaha keyboard. Going over the bridge on a windy winter's evening with the keyboard stuffed in my backpack there was something about the rushing water of the Corrib that meshed with the possibilities that began blooming around the newly acquired instrument. I started messing around with it the following day, and some of what I recorded in those first few days made its way on to my tape.

The tapes are available from the above link, or this one if you prefer.
